If you’re looking to impress your guests with fine food, tasty drinks, and excellent service, you can’t go wrong with The Rib Room, at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray
Anyone familiar with Dubai’s financial district will no doubt be aware of The Rib Room. Located just a stone’s throw away from DIFC at Emirates Towers, The Rib Room has been a go-to destination for savvy business people looking to close a deal or impress an out-of-town client.
While easy on the eyes, the large venue has an air of professionalism about it (dare we say, it can be a bit stuffy in the evenings). Its second location – at Jumeirah’s Zabeel Saray on The Palm – wants to change that.
The restaurant is far smaller than its older brother but well thought-out. It features a small bar area, outdoor terrace, and multiple dining sections.
The décor is chic, luxurious and masculine – the stuff steakhouse dreams are made of. Service is excellent; waiting staff recommends dishes with confidence (often because they’ve tried the recipes themselves).
The food is up to the same exacting standards as its Emirates Towers counterpart, the prominent star of the menu being the restaurant’s namesake, wagyu short ribs (along with truffle mash). The dish – like the venue – is pricey, but well worth the splurge.
