The star of Breguet’s 2016 line-up is the Hora Mundi 5727 – the successor to the 2011 award-winning Hora Mundi that took home a truckload of top prizes for technical achievement.
The Breguet Classique Hora Mundi was, and still is today, the first watch with an instant-jump time-zone display that synchronises with all the other indicators on the dial.
The biggest difference between this watch and its forebear lies under the hood. The Cal. 77F0 movement enables the wearer to simultaneously cycle through four different functions at once, meaning times will never go out of synch between home time and another time zone anywhere in the world.
Depress the pusher at the 8:00 position and the date, 24-hour indicator and city indications will switch automatically to the next time zone. The dial forgoes the North American map motif, in favour of a simple white gold dial with detailing.
The Breguet Classique Hora Mundi 5727 is available in a 43mm case, in either rose gold or white gold.
