The most lavish suite this side of the bosphorus was inspired by a Continental GT, and features a combination of luxury and Bentley’s signature style

Istanbul is a city of contrasts. The biggest example of this is the east and west sides of the city, divided by the bosphorus in the middle.

One side embraces the heritage and culture of this thousand year city, while the other is altogether more modern; an interpretation of Istanbul’s glamourous Art Deco era of the 1920s.

With that spirit in mind – that of embracing two sides of the same design coin – the St. Regis Istanbul opened its doors (and it’s most lavish suite) to the design boffs at Bentley Motors.

One of only two in the word (the other suite is in the St. Regis New York), the room provides breath-taking views of both the Bosphorus and Maçka Park.

The room is decorated with Bentley’s customary design philosophy, including signature Bentley diamond upholstery on the lounge sofa and bed.

Even the room itself matches the Continental GT’s sultry silhouette. The same attention to detail has gone in to the amenities, including a bespoke Bentley Humidor (made in Crewe, by the same master craftsman who hand-make all Bentley interiors) as well as his-and-hers jewellery boxes.

There’s a branded Mulsanne champagne cooler embedded in the sofa lounge (via a similar mechanism to the cars themselves) ready to be stocked by your own personal butler.
