The Venture is a competition from Chivas Regal that sees companies compete of a US$1 million annual fund, awarded to those who use business to create positive change. Over the last two years, over US$2 million has been invested in extraordinary start-ups from around the world. The regional finals saw four companies compete, and NOW Money – a micro transaction service – was chosen to represent the Gulf. The company will be one of 30 finalists from across six continents. The finals took place at Marina Social at the Intercontinental Dubai Marina.
