Global aerospace industry set to land at Dubai Airshow

The whole of aerospace is represented at the Dubai Airshow every year, and 2019 will be no exception.

From engine manufacturing to aircraft interiors; all the key aircraft OEMs, training and simulation, ground handling and support, navigation systems — it would take too long to list them all, but if it’s part of the aerospace industry then it will be part of the Dubai Airshow 2019.

All of the industry sectors are also represented including airlines, civil aviation, business aviation, military aviation, unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and space.

In terms of networking opportunities, the Dubai Airshow provides the platform and the networking value is immeasurable, especially as businesses in the region place a premium on face-to-face meetings.

For particular sectors such as air traffic, cargo and space the conferences taking place within the Dubai Airshow provide dedicated pavilion areas where industry players are based in a concentrated environment.

During the show we encourage exhibitors to arrange their own networking events, either on their own stands or chalets, or they can purchase tables for use in the Tarsus F&E LLC Middle East chalet for this purpose should they require.

There will be a focus on many topics representing all aspects of aviation. The conferences taking place within the Dubai Airshow are designed to provide a dedicated platform for each specific sector: Global Air Traffic Management (GATM) will be for the air traffic industry; Cargo Connect for the entire cargo supply chain and the free to attend conferences in the Space Pavilion: Tech Talks and Women in Space will highlight achievements of the space industry.

“The UAE Space Agency will once again have a prominent presence in the exhibition hall, part of the dedicated Space Pavilion”

The Space Pavilion and the associated conferences: Women in Space and Tech Talks, are produced in partnership with the UAE Space Agency, so they are a significant part of the Dubai Airshow 2019. Space exploration is a national priority for the UAE and this feature at the Dubai Airshow has been developed to support the government’s strategic objectives of building the region’s space sector.

Women in Space will bring top female experts who will explore the latest R&D, case studies and advancements in space. The Space Tech Talks will feature international Space Agencies talking about the new space economy and redefining business models to boost space mission success.

In addition, the UAE Space Agency will once again have a prominent presence in the exhibition hall, part of the dedicated Space Pavilion. We’re very excited to see what they will have on display for visitors to see.

With so much on show across the five days of the Dubai Airshow, attendees should plan ahead to make the most of the opportunities available.

See who will be there in the exhibitor list ahead of time, arrange to meet with your local peers by inviting them to join you, plan your schedule and meetings before you go and take advantage of the opportunities available to grow your business.

It’s also imperative to define your own objectives for the Dubai Airshow before you attend. Know what you want to achieve, whether it is to meet with your existing contacts to strengthen relationships or to build new ones with potential suppliers or customers, and plan your time at the show accordingly.

The flying display takes place from 2pm – 5pm each afternoon and we are expecting a large number of aerobatic displays alongside demonstrations of the latest aircraft, as is always the case at the Dubai Airshow.

The Dubai Airshow takes place November 17-21. See dubaiairshow.aero for more information.
