For Omniyat, a developer with a vision beyond property and place, luxury has never been a fixed concept, but rather something altogether more fluid and malleable; a starting point for a dialogue about what is possible and how the future might be shaped.

It’s an ambitious and exciting prospect and one that Omniyat is continuing to define. An understanding that what we might once have thought of as luxury has shifted into more philosophical and experiential terrain underwrites its ethos, ‘The Art of Elevation’, an ideology that espouses not just its commitment to elevating the lives of its audiences but to enriching them too.

Luxury today is about more than precious ‘things’; it has expanded to include precious memories, once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and curated happenings that inspire an emotional response – and Omniyat is delivering.

It’s an ethos that is foundational to Omniyat’s properties – a journey which began with iconic masterpieces of architecture and design such as The Opus, designed by legendary architect Zaha Hadid, and the record-breaking One at Palm Jumeirah, and continues today with ultra-luxurious properties such as ORLA and ORLA Infinity, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, and The Lana and Lana Residences, Dorchester Collection, Dubai.

Established in 2005 by Founder and Executive Chairman Mahdi Amjad, Omniyat works with leading talent across design, architecture, and hospitality to deliver a unique take on curated living – pushing the boundaries of what luxury can be and going beyond artistic frontiers and delving into the realms of human experience itself.

Whether curated living or beautifully crafted bespoke events, Omniyat remains synonymous with creating unforgettable experiences with a focus on capturing the unique. From one-of-a-kind architectural spaces, to once-in-a-lifetime events, it continues to break through traditional limits of luxury.

Cue the recent Omniyat Summer Collection by Big Art Festival – an inventive series of events staged in some of the world’s most glamorous Mediterranean destinations, from Capri and Monaco, to Forto Dei Marmiand Porto Cervo. Combining leading musical talent, five star locations, and intimate audiences, the events are designed to offer something truly unique to invited guests; a new take on exclusivity and luxury.

In August, Omniyat travelled to Portofino for the climax of the series and welcomed globally renowned Maestro Andrea Bocelli to the terrace of the Belmond Hotel Splendido. Over the course of an unforgettable gala evening, guests enjoyed an elevated gastronomic offering from Chef Corrado Corti, served against one of Italy’s most iconic backdrops.

In the company of a ninety-person audience, drawn from around the globe, Bocelli’s rendition of Love in Portofino, performed in the heart of the eponymous location, felt both surreal and incredibly intimate. From Time to Say Goodbye to Turandot‘s Nessun dorma, and Mamma, the evening proved both elegant and emotional; testament to Omniyat’s redefining take on luxury.
