“When I started working, I didn’t really think that my gender would be the reason I was treated differently. But when I was looking after 18 markets in a B2B role, handling more than 300 clients across 30 segments, that was the moment that gave birth to my purpose—I saw firsthand how men and women are perceived differently,” she shares. “When I walk into a meeting room, I start from minus 10. I have to work my way toward zero. A man, at worst, starts at zero.”
With 73% of her team being women, Amnah is committed to shifting this dynamic, using her influence to create opportunities and shape an environment where women can advance without barriers. “You see all these data points, you meet all these women, and you realise—change has to happen,” she says.
